This is a shop where you can make a difference where it matters most. Instead of buying a new gadget for you, you can buy a gadget for the hospital. Instead of updating your couch, you can buy one for the hospital.

Why is a fundraising shop necessary?
Hospitals need a lot of equipment to function, from state-of-the-art imaging technology such as MRI and CT Scanners to less glamorous but just as important items such as beds, chairs, and artwork. The majority of hospital funding goes into staffing and operational costs. Your gift will make a difference in the small amount left over for equipment.
With the development of the New East Wing Building and Taranaki Cancer Centre at Taranaki Base Hospital, now is the best time to make a difference where it matters most. Your donation through our shop will help provide funding for enhancements that will impact the well-being of patients, carers, and staff for many years to come.

In the second half of 2025, the New East Wing Building will open and will be home to new departments for Emergency, ICU, Maternity, Neonatal and Radiotherapy.
With an investment of over $400 million from the government, this will be a great facility for Taranaki. With your support, we can provide enhancements that make it the best. Because Taranaki deserves the best.
